Evan Fabricant is a financial advisor focused on helping his clients reach their financial dreams. with his client's objectives being placed at the center. Evan is a founding member and enthusiastic about the collaboration of professionals that Legacy Partners brings to the table for their clients.
Evan entered the financial services industry in 1997. He began his career in Richmond, Virginia with Financial Services of Virginia, which was affiliated with New England Financial. In 2003, Evan joined his current broker-dealer MML Investor Services, LLC. He has built a successful practice where he has won many agency awards and the current distinction of Court of the Table Membership of the Million Dollar Roundtable.
Evan is the Past-President of the Richmond Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He was named as a national recipient of the Paul Mill’s Scholarship which is awarded by The Society of Financial Service Professionals and recognizes financial services professionals who have shown exemplary commitment to their community and industry leadership. Evan is a 9-time winner of the 5-Star of Wealth Managers in the Greater Richmond, Virginia Area from 2012-2020. He is a firm believer in Professional Education and holds his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and recently received his Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation through the American College of Financial Services. Evan is the Treasurer of his son’s Cub Scout Pack 544 in Mechanicsville, Virginia. He is most proud of his wife of twenty-three years, Tracy, and their son and daughter. Evan is grateful for the opportunity to serve and brings his experience and knowledge to the community.

John G. Sarrett
For over 17 years he John has guided individuals, families, and businesses through comprehensive investment, retirement, estate and business strategies, as well as life, health, and disability income insurance programs. John’s commitment to his clients and strong values have earned him an excellent reputation in the industry.
He enjoys giving back to the industry through mentoring other professionals, as well as speaking to groups about his personal and career experiences. He has been a featured speaker for many organizations including The PGA of America, the University of Richmond’s Osher Institute, Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce and a variety of insurance companies.
He enjoys giving back in his community having served on the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Eastern Virginia, Board of Directors of Meadowbrook Country Club, Past President of Y-Guides of Chesterfield and Briarwood Neighborhood Association.
John graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1985. Since then, he spent 16 years working in the golf industry as a club professional, and from 2002 forward, acquired series 6,63, 65 and 7 licensing while serving in the financial services industry with major banks and Insurance companies. John is a registered representative with MML Investors Services, LLC. He resides in Midlothian, Virginia with his wife Valerie and three sons.
Nathan A. Lash
Agency Investment Specialist
Nathan Lash has been in the financial services industry since 1997. Nathan attended East Carolina University where he was a scholarship recipient on the men’s golf team and earned his degree in Business Education. After graduating in 1997 he moved to Richmond, Virginia and began building his practice.
Nathan is the Investment Specialist for Legacy Partners. Nathan has had the opportunity to serve on various committees within industry communities and attend multiple conferences which have been a valuable resource. He strives for excellence and remains educated on the ever-changing climate of the financial industry. Nathan's experience through a multitude of economic cycles has provided a unique perspective in understanding investor behavior and in turn, has become a valuable asset to Legacy Partners.
Sheri B. Sullivan
Client Relationship Manager
Sheri began her career in marketing and promotions in 1984 before joining Legacy Partners in 2017. She grew up just outside of Washington, DC in Silver Spring, MD where her family owned a pharmacy and even delivered prescriptions to customers’ homes. Sheri learned at an early age the importance of exceptional customer service and the Golden Rule, “Treat everyone the way you want to be treated”.
Sheri graduated, with a BFA, cum laude from Florida State University where she received a communications degree and ran track. She worked for many national and regional clients, while at marketing agencies in several states before settling in Richmond where she built her own successful advertising agency over 20 years ago. Sheri won many marketing awards, including 2 Addy’s, “Sales Person of the Year” for both the Houston Chronicle and the Richmond-area BNI.
She currently is the Executive Director of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and Marketing Chair for Bike/Walk Hanover. She has two daughters and lives in Mechanicsville, VA.
Alan Fabricant, RFC
Alan Fabricant, RFC, has been in the Financial Services industry for over 40 years. Alan began his career with CIGNA Corporation in 1977 where he was a life member of their Honor Table Society as well as a life member of the Investment Leaders Club. At CIGNA Alan specialized in working with closely held business owners in guiding them through strategies on how to pass their business' to key employees, management and in many cases owner's children. Alan strived to work as a planning team with the owner's accountant, attorney, and other trusted advisors.
In 1988, Alan joined The Guardian Life Insurance Company and continued to advise business owners, executives and retirees on accumulation and distribution strategies in the event of retirement or need for long term care planning. Alan was a member of the Leader's Club and a member of the President's Council, as well as Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
In 2008, Alan joined Metlife where he mentored new associates and taught classes on Estate, Business, and Retirement Planning. In addition, Alan provided continuing education for Financial Service Professionals and CPA's. Since 2013 Alan has been affiliated in the same capacity with Legacy Partners.
Alan received his undergraduate degree from The University of Toledo and a Masters Degree from Long Island University. Alan is an active member of The Professional Legacy Advisors and the Business and Professional Council of Federation of Palm Beach County, The Palm Beach Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and The Palms West Estate Planning Council. In addition, he is currently volunteering with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Florida.
In his spare time, Alan enjoys traveling with his wife Ellen of 52 years and visiting with his children and grandchildren. Alan is also an avid photographer and enjoys shooting Polo Matches and Horse Jumping in Wellington, worldwide travel and college football for the University of Miami and many of the visiting teams.
